Detectives have released images of a woman they want to speak to after a reported attempted child abduction at a London Underground station.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 8.30pm on Thursday, October 15, at West Ham Underground station.
A seven-year-old girl was at the station with her father when a woman approached her and began engaging with her.
British Transport Police (BTP) said the woman told the child she wanted to “grab” her before attempting to hold her hand.
The girl and her father managed to get away from the woman.
Police said the woman then told bystanders that the father was kidnapping the girl before fleeing the station.
Detectives have now released images in connection with their investigation and are appealing for help identifying the woman pictured.
