High tides could flood parts of Essex this evening, with coastal roads and car parks at risk.
Flooding is possible between 10pm on Sunday October 25 and midnight on Monday October 26. Coastal locations including Clacton Promenade, Lee-over-Sands and Brightlingsea sea front may experience waves overtopping and spray.
The warning extends to large parts of the Essex coastline with more areas at risk.

At Mersea Island, the Strood may flood, while Coast Road, car parks on the front at West Mersea, the Hythe and Maldon’s Promenade are also at risk.
A detailed forecast puts Clacton’s peak level at 3.33m at 11pm on Sunday, 0.78m above tide tables. Winds are expected to be Force 6, from the south-west.

Tides will remain high over the next couple of days. People are being advised to avoid coastal roads, footpaths and car parks which may be flooded.
Officials said they are closely monitoring the situation. The warning follows strong winds as Essex has largely escaped the worst of Storm Boelo, the second named storm of the season.
Most severe conditions have affected Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England, where exposed areas recorded winds above 80mph.
Southern England is outside the main amber warning area, but the Met Office said gusts of 50 to 60mph remain possible elsewhere.
