A SHENFIELD man has been released on police bail following a disturbance at a club on New Year’s Day.
The 30 year old who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed to reappear before police on February 16.
Police were called to the disturbance at the Football Academy in Loughton at just after 1.30am on New Year’s Day.
More than 600 people had to be dispersed from the club and a number sustained injuries and vehicles were damaged.
A 47 year old man from Kent was taken to the Royal London Hospital after sustaining serious stab wounds and a 41 year old from Finchley was taken to Broomfield Hospital to be treated for a hand injury.
