Brentwood Town 4, Tiptree 1
BRENTWOOD'S encouraging start to the season continued on Saturday with this victory against a competitive Tiptree side.
Though Brentwood boss Steve Witherspoon rotated his squad and had a look at a number of trialists, his team is beginning to take shape and Town definitely look as if they will be a force to be reckoned with in the Essex Senior League this season.
Witherspoon was delighted with his side's performance and said: "It is all coming together well. The squad is taking shape and we have the advantage that a lot of the players have played with each other before, at Hornchurch and Aveley.
"We are now working on getting them used to the pattern of play and systems that we want. It is all very encouraging at the moment."
