BRENTWOOD Town's opening fixture in the Essex Senior League should give a good test of how they will fare this season.

Manager Steve Witherspoon has assembled a strong squad but they will be put to the test by one of the main contenders, Barkingside, who just missed out on promotion last season.

The season will start on Saturday, August 15 at The Arena.

Due to increases in operating costs, Brentwood have had to increase admission prices for the season, and the charges will be : Adults £5, Concessions £3, and accompanied children U16 free.

For the first time, the club is offering season tickets at £80 adult and £40 concessions which will save you around £20 this season.
