PLANS have been submitted to convert a furniture store into a gym.
Bringy Furniture, which operated from Great Baddow for more than 50 years, announced it was shutting for good in October 2017.
Owner Tim Halfhide wrote to customers about a £675,000 sale before the Church Street shop closed its doors.
But now plans have been submitted to turn the shop into a personal training studio.
The building, located in a conservation area, would become a business for one to one and group personal training.
The plans are set to consulted until February 22.
