Three people are due to appear at court to face firearms charges.
It follows the recovery of firearms and ammunition during searches carried out in Chelmsford in the early stages of the investigation into the murder of John Pordage in August 2017.
A revolver, a sawn off shotgun and bullets were recovered from a park in Stanley Rise, Chelmsford.
Reece Williams, 20, of Brookmans Road, Stock; Robert Ketley, 24, of no fixed address; and a 17-year-old boy from Leigh-on-Sea who cannot be identified for legal reasons, have been summonsed to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on February 25.
They will all each face two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, three counts of possession of prohibited ammunition, and one count of perverting the course of justice.
