A popular fast food restaurant is being converted into a new pizzeria.
Wimpy in High Street Wickford is set to reopen as a Tony's very soon.
Works are underway inside the restaurant ahead of the reopening.
Residents and community leaders said they are pleased to see more investment and a new restaurant opening in the town centre.
