THE Prodigy has paid tribute to lead singer Keith Flint one year on from his death.

The band's frontman was found dead aged 49 at his home near Dunmow, on March 4 last year.

In a touching tribute posted on social media today, band mates Liam Howlett and Keith Palmer, known on stage as Maxim, have admitted they miss their close friend everyday.

They wrote on Twitter: "One year has gone by since you left us, we miss you everyday man, your light blazes strong.

"You will always be here with us because as you know - WE LIVE FOREVER!"

"Stay Punk brother, Forever in our hearts."

Plans are still in place to immortalise Keith by installing a statue of him in his hometown of Braintree.

The man known by fans as "Keef" was given a fitting send off when thousands of people from across the world travelled to Braintree to pay their final respects on the day of his funeral.

A procession was held through the streets before the funeral service, which took place at St Mary's Church in Bocking.

An inquest into his death heard Keith had been found hanging by a friend but an open verdict was delivered by coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray, who said there was not enough evidence to rule he had intended to take his own life.
