The show’s synopsis reads: “Michael McIntyre hosts a game show packed with huge stars, big laughs and a giant spinning wheel.
“Can the contestants, guided by celebrity experts, answer their way to a fortune?”
The Wheel was first broadcast in 2020 after Michael had thought of the concept for the show while in the bath.
He thought there were so many talent shows on TV but not that many new game shows.
The show was also easy to produce during the COVID-19 pandemic with all of the celebrities and contestants distanced far away from each other.
The celebrities and contestants work together to build up a bank of money before the final contestant sat on The Wheel after all of the subjects are answered has to take on one final question to win all of the prize pot.
