LEOPARDS will look to maintain NBL Division One’s only perfect record when they host Newham Neptunes at the Brentwood Centre on Sunday, tip-off 4pm.
The Big Cats won an overtime thriller 92-89 at leaders Derby Trailblazers on Saturday, and will look to collect their sixth straight league win when they host the struggling East London side on Sunday.
The two sides last met a fortnight ago, and a strong second-half performance saw a comfortable 96-68 victory for the Big Cats, which saw them progress to the quarter-finals of the National Trophy, where they host Leicester Warriors at Brentwood, on Sunday, January 11.
And now struggling Newham head to Brentwood for a rematch.
Incredibly, the five league wins for Robert Youngblood’s Leopards team have come via a combined margin of 12 points. Against a depleted Derby, Dave Ajumobi led the way with 23 points.
