THE first half was played out in the centre of the pitch with both teams looking for a way through. Although the home team pushed hard in the opening quarter, Brentwood limited Crostyx’s chances.
After weathering the initial storm, Brentwood began to exert some pressure of their own and quick passes created the spaces to penetrate the home team’s circle forcing the home team into errors, but the scoreline remained goalless at half-time.
The second half was much of the same. Brentwood created a number of chances on the break but were unlucky not to capitalise on their excellent moves, being denied by a stop on the line by a defender.
This week Brentwood playWaltham Forest, 2pm at Sawyers.
