MANAGER Hakan Hayrettin says there is one significant area of his squad that he is looking at to see whether he needs to make a change.

Having taken the Iron boss' job on a permanent basis after a brief spell in caretaker charge, Hayrettin has admitted that he will be "pulling no punches" in moulding the squad as he wants to.

He didn't want to specify what parts of the pitch he is looking at, but has revealed that one area that he may have to make a change is in the goalkeeping berth as first-team keeper Ben Killip's ankle injury looks set to keep him sidelined for several more weeks.

"It's looking like Ben could be out for six weeks or more, so that is one area that I'm looking at very carefully," said the Iron boss.

"Maybe I will (make a change) or maybe I won't.

"Ashlee (Jones) has done very well in there while Ben has been out and if I feel it's not broken then I won't fix it.

"It's one area we're looking at, but there are a number of areas that I'm looking to improve."
