HULLBRIDGE Sports boss Darren Manning is pleased with how he has bolstered his squad since the turn of the year.

While Liam Nash departed for National League South outfit Dartford having joined from Hemel Hempstead Town just a matter of weeks earlier, Manning has signed ex-Grays Athletic striker Kieran Bishop and Dan Walker, formerly of Southend United, Heybridge Swifts and Great Wakering Rovers.

Bishop grabbed his first goal for the club in the midweek draw with Bury Town and Manning is pleased with his options across the pitch.

“I’m extremely happy with the squad that we have assembled,” said Manning.

“There may be one more player coming in within the next couple of weeks and that would complete my squad.

“We have very good, healthy competition all over the pitch with two players that can play in every position.

“Going into a very busy period of the season, we are going to need that depth.

“We have got some real experience and proven quality at this level now and I am delighted to have been able to get my targets in.”

Hullbridge are facing one of their longest away trips of the campaign as they head to Felixstowe & Walton United tomorrow.

Felixstowe are currently second-from-bottom in the Isthmian North standings, with just Romford separating them from the foot of the table.

Sports, meanwhile, are 13th and 15 points clear of the drop zone in their first ever season at this level.
