SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley insists he is happy with his Shrimpers squad - despite their disappointing start to the season.

Molesley is still able to bring free agents to Blues.

But the 39-year-old is pleased with what he already has at his disposal.

"We will always look to add value where we can and improve us but at the moment the window is shut and we’re happy with what we’ve got in the building," said Molesley.

"We’re really enjoying working with these players every day and improving this group here.

"We will continue to get better and wth the more experienced players starting to come back we’re looking far healthier than we were at the start of the season."

Molesley has signed eight players since coming to the club in August.
