THE EFL has issued an apology after Southend United supporters suffered yet more problems watching the Shrimpers online.
Echosport has been contacted by a number of frustrated Blues fans who were forced to endure disrupted coverage of Tuesday night's match with Forest Green Rovers on iFollow.
But the Shrimpers have now issued a club statement on the matter, confirming season card holders will be issued with a replacement code free of a charge for a future away game.
The statement said: "The EFL are aware of the technical issues which affected website users watching the live stream of the Southend United v Forest Green Rovers fixture.
"This was the result of a technical issue at Endeavor Streaming, which is currently being investigated and a further update will be provided to Southend United.
"The EFL has apologised to Southend United and all our supporters who were affected by the issue and have updated us with compensation details for the loss of service.
"Any season ticket holder who watched the game will be issued with a replacement code free of charge for a future away game.
"Anyone who purchased a match pass for the game, will be issued a full refund by EFL Digital within the next 14 days.
"Supporters need not contact anyone further and will receive an email from EFL Digital, with details of their compensation in due course."
